Kohachan Signed Poster

Monday, 30th July 2007 00:15

I've had this poster awhile, but I haven't wanted to put any photos up until I got it framed and as you can probably guess I've had the odd bit of trouble actually getting it framed, but at long last I've managed to do it!!
I first became aware of this poster when reading on a Japanese blog site about the signing Kohachan was giving taking place on May 6th during the Sexy 8 Beat Tour. As soon as I heard this I started searching Yahoo Auctions Japan to see if anybody had put their copy up, to be honest I wasn't hopeful as who in their right mind would put something as great as this up?!...but luckily there was a couple up. Ohta was then able to put in a successful bid on the item for me.

This has to be my favourite H!P item that I own, with Koharu being my favourite member of Morning Musume at the moment it's obvious why.

very nice find, I wish I could find an autographed something, but they seem to go for a bit too much money. How much did you pay for this poster?

Hotaru, I just couldn't bring myself to put blu tac on it or stick pins through it, I can't remember how much it cost Momo, I'll check my emails when I get in.

Shirow, Ohta has a couple of signed items in his store at the moment, you may want to check them out, also I hope these help, the links below will show you on Google maps where the shops are, they're all fairly close together, if you get off at Piccadilly Circus they're all within walking distance.

Adanami Shobo, it's along Brewer Street, it's just after the car park and on the same side of the road, bizarrely the shop has a 'Dry Cleaners' sign on it, sells mostly second hands books but has some CDs as well, all in good condition.

Japan Centre, magazines, CDs and DVDs, this should be easy to find as it's right next to the station...well if you pick the right exit, lol.

Mitsukoshi, downstairs you'll find JPBooks, same sort of stuff as the Japan Centre and is literally around the corner from it.

Your poster looks great framed! I love the way that she writes her signature! Perhaps only Gakisan's and Momo's are as cute. Autographed items are pricey but after you've framed it like this it's definitely worth it! I'm not sure which one is my favorite but it's between the "Sexy Boy~soyo kaze ni yorisotte" poster and "Ai no tane" postcard.

Paul it's just been announced that Koharuchan's getting a "Love-Hello!" shashinshuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's being released sometime in September as no exact date appears to be noted yet. I'm thinking that there must also be an accompanying DVD. There must be one! Koharuchan deserves the full treatment! You're the biggest Koharuchan fan that I know! Are you smiling?! :)

hi
i'm new to this site, just reading about the japan centre in london
do you sell H!P stuff there? or is it only what is on their website?
thanks

I don't live in UK, but at places like Kinokuniya and Asahiya in New York City, it is basicly whatever you find there is what they have. it's probably the same with Japan Centre

The Japan Centre stocks pretty much what it has on it's site but it's sells a bit more, in store it sells more magazines and also some CDs. Their H!P stock has got less and less at the moment there's very little in, so much so that the only thing they offer H!P related at the moment is the ordering of the calendars. They do however get in some magazines that feature H!P members in on a regular basis like Up to Boy, Kindai, CDData, Flash and the 'dreaded' Friday. If you're going down there it'll be worth hanging on until after the 14th as I noticed that they are expanding into the shop next door...I'm not to sure what they'll be doing with it though, fingers crossed they'll be expanding their music, books and magazines.
If you can get down to London it's worth having a look in a couple of other shops as well, you have Mitsukoshi (which when I went into last week had the Complete Singles CD) and Adanami Shobo, below is a link to MMUK where I made a post with more info.

ok thanks for the help
do you know if they have any of the H!P calendars in the japan centre and how much they cost?
also do they only sell the latest issues of magazines or do they sell back issues aswell?

commentComment by paul.thomas on Sunday, 11th November 2007 12:47
They don't have any in stock at the moment (well at least not when I went in their last week) but you can order them in, not to sure how much they are though, normally when it gets to December they have some in stock.
Mainly they sell current issues, they used to have a section of back issues, but they were fairly random....not to sure if they still do them or not.
