Onegai My Melody Kirara!

I'm a fan on Anime it's just that I don't ever have the time to sit down and watch any, I occasionally watch the odd episode of Bleach, much like I force H!P upon Chris he does much the same with Bleach. You would imagine with me being a huge fan of Koha I'd make the effort to fit in an episode of Kiran Revolution every now and then? Lol, I wouldn't even know where to look to download an episode. For me the great thing about these H!P Anime tie ins is the new units that form out of them; Koha's solo career, Kira☆Pika, Buono! and Athena & Robikerots can't knock any of them, I love them all! We've now got a new Koahchan unit and the potential for Reina to start a solo career.
Reina is now voicing the character Kirara in Sanrio's Onegai My Melody Kirara!.


A preview clip has been uploaded on the TV Osaka website, this is the first time I've seen or heard of the show, apparently the previous (current?) series plays before Robby & Kerobby. As yet I haven't found any details as to whether Reina will be releasing a track for the opening or closing credits, but I'd imagine the likelyhood is high, you'd imagine with her getting the joint lead in the soon to be released Morning Musume single a msucial tie in seems likely. I'm wondering if the new series will continue to air before Athena & Robikerots, I also wonder if it does and Reina sings the credits how this will effect Robby & Kerobby and Gaki's Athena & Robikerots unit. In a recent post (Sweet Valentine and Hello Pro Award Photo Sets) a comment was made by omame about rumours that the Anime will be ending soon, which in turn I'm guessing would mean an end to Athena & Robikerots. I really hope that this isn't the case as I really want the unit to stay around for awhile, all the girls within the unit deserve the attention that they are getting through the unit, especially the likes of Nakki and Chisato, with Airi and Maimi getting most of the attention within C-ute it's good to see these two getting the attention they deserve. My fingers are crossed that the introduction of Reina into an Anime doesn't mean we lose Gaki and Athena & Robikerots.

Wish Reina will start a solo career ! I like her ! But like you, I hope it's not the end of Athena & Robikerottsu !

The anime look weird. The song that was playing in background kinda look like potemayo opening XD !

I also heard that the anime would be ending soon which is sad for Gakisan, Nakki, Chisatochan, & Mittsi! :( It's great that Reinachan has gotten into anime and I hope she gets a single soon!

Is Reina the voice-actor for the little girl or the black Melody? Could be a yankii character.
Hope she can sing some opening songs for the anime.

lol i'm an avid hello kitty sanario fan, so i'm gonna love this series!
I dout Reina will be playing one of the established characters, cause i read this series has been going on for a while. so i'd assume shes playing the girl... lol may be thats why she throws a little spaz in the clip above it looks nothing like her

I was looking at the Hello-Online tracker for the subtitle version of the puppet show at Morning Musume's 2007 Aki Concert when I saw the title to Robby & Kerobby's latest EP. Someone said that was the last EP and there would be no more. I was really looking forward to at least an album with Niigaki and her crew. I'm wondering if it would be different if Tsuji was still doing the voice overs?

I don't think it would be different if Tsuji was doing the voice overs, but I'm sure that she wouldn't have gotten stuck with the c-ute kids.. (sorry, not a big Nakasaki fan) I actually do hope Athena and Robikerottsu breaks up, Risa needs to move on to something a bit more grown up I feel.

Also, I hated the Mini Moni comparisons, and I didn't see them in this group at all anyway...

From what I've been reading Reina is doing the voice for the girl, Kirara.
I'd have to agree with Cat, I doubt it would be different if Nono was still around, but at least they'd still be the likely hood she'd carry on with a solo career, I think it's safe to say that when the anime finishes so does the unit, it's really a shame as I love their singles and the PVs are so cute!
Cat, I can see the MiniMoni comparisons, it may not be be in the personalities of the girls, but certainly the costumes and the cute nature of the PVs I feel had a very MiniMoniesque type feel to them.

I've been looking for about 30 mins but I haven't been able to find anything, but then I don't normally watch any of the anime series online so I have no real idea where to start. Soz Anon

Thanks Paul. I normally don't too, but after watching a few episodes of this anime, I find it cute and addicted. So sad that there's not enough interest generated outside of Japan that even the raws are so hard to find.
