Recently H!P seem to be very restrictive in who is getting PB releases and there seems to be a trend building up whereby only the same handful of members from certain units seem to be getting releases. Within Morning Musume the 8th Generation members are all still waiting for PB releases, personally I'm dying for a Mittsi release, having seen and attempted unsuccessfully to buy some of her Alo! Hello photos whilst in Japan I've been waiting patiently for a PB release to come out. But for me the unit that is in need of their other members getting a photobook release is C-ute, with Maimi and Airi racking up 5 books between themselves (if you include Airi soon to be release book as well) it really makes me wonder if we'll just see another Maimi release be scheduled in after Airi's. The unit as a whole has some amazing girls in it all worthy or a release, personally and I'm guessing already knows this is coming, I'd love to see both Erika and Nakki releases, but it would also be amazing for any other member to get a release as literally every member could pull it off, well with the possible exception of Hagitty as she may a little too young, but then Airi's first release came out only a short while after her 13th birthday so perhaps at the start of next year we could even see one from her...although I don't think I'd be too comfortable seeing her in bikini shots.
Whilst I wait for my two favourite C-ute members to get their first PB releases I've not only bought this issue of BLT for the shots of Erika but purchased off of Ohta a version of Nakki's Solo Concert Photobook, which over the next few days I'll be posting about...if I can actually figure out to scan the images without damaging it.


This is the first time that I've purchased a copy of BLT and I was quite surprised with the design of it as it's something I haven't seen in a magazine before. The issue is split in two and is read from the front page to the center and then from the back to the centre, the front being Side A and the back Side B. I was presently surprised to also see that this magazine didn't just feature Erika, as it also has shots of Momo. I know I keep saying this but every time I see Momo she's grows on me more and more, I'm beginning to think that she'll soon take over as being my favourite within Berryz as although Risako never fails to disappoint me, her WOW factor is nothing compared to that of Momo's recently, sure she's amazingly beautiful for someone her age and she's cute to boot, but I find I'm really enjoying Momo's personality more.


And now the reason why I bought the magazine, Erika. I'm slightly upset that she's featured within the Side B of the magazine as too me it's implying that she's not worthy of being on the Side A when looking at these images (and just just generally) she is. And the images here really go to show that, as she looks amazing. Seriously I can't understand why she hasn't had a PB release yet, it raises a question that I've discussed with MorningBerryz lately as to whether the decision aren't necessarily just made my UFA. It's not like Erika (or anyone else within C-ute for that matter) is short of fan appreciation and I wonder if perhaps not only the girls but perhaps even their parents have a say in the direction of their career and as to whether they want a PB release? Lol, I'll give UFA a couple more months before I start a petition with the aim of getting her a PB release out ;p


Also include with this issue is a selection of cards with the idols featured within the magazine, I had my fingers crossed that I would at least get one of either Momo or Erika. These were a really welcome surprise and even more so when it turned out that I did indeed get a card featuring Momo.

I absolutely love the photos of Momo and Erikachan in this issue.....one them if not both should have been the cover girl(s)!! Momo's hair is at a perfect length and her hat is so cute!!! This magazine has an interesting format with an a and b side to it which reads from either side. Erikachan's looking so glamorous here and it really is puzzling that she still doesn't have a single solo pb release yet. Start getting the petition ready!! :)

I agree MorningBerryz, it's so sad to see Erika feature in a magazine and yet have no solo photobook. The same thing could be said about Nakajima and Chinami now that she is growing her hair long again. I'm also wondering if Miaybi will get a second one at all?

If both had been on the cover it would have made for an even better issue! Talking of covers I wonder if H!P will start appearing on the cover of UTB again? Lol, I'm really hoping will get a PB soon, if not the petition will definitely surface ;p
I'd really love for Chinami to have the next PB from Berryz, she's looking really great with her longer hair.
