3rd ~LOVE Escalation!~ Poster

I do enjoy a poster, if you've been reading my blog for awhile you'll probably have realised this (
Daisuki Rakuten Eagles,
H!P Posters,
Kohachan Signed Poster and
A Quick Look At Last Months Items). I've always had a thing for posters, and oddly it's only now that I find myself putting up posters of girls on my walls. Well that's not entierly true, my walls have been adorned with the odd piece of eye candy but it's never been the most obvious choices and it certainly hasn't ever been the main focal point, in my teens I was a huge B-Movie fan (I still am and even managed to finally watch Killer Tomatoes Eat France! last week...I still have to try and find a copy of Killer Tomatoes Strike Back) and the majority of my posters reflected this, Attack of the 50ft Woman, King Kong and THEM! were among the posters that stayed on my walls the longest, but the longest running poster which has appeared on numerous walls through the years is for the film Possession, I must have had it for about 10 years now and it's been hanging on my walls from the moment I bought it.
But as good as these other posters are I have to say that the
H!P posters are by far my favourites, I don't think anything can quite beat the posters that UFA produce, the designs are always amazing and it's constant reminded of not only how great the idol's featured on it are but how good the releases are. Over the past few weeks I've managed to order a couple more posters, the first from
HelloProLand eBay Store which I picked up from the post office yesterday, the poster is of
C-ute's 3rd ~LOVE Escalation!~. I just couldn't resist getting this when I saw it, the costumes worn are one of my favourite outfits worn by any of the H!P members, the girls look amazing as I've probably already said in numerous posts and having them in these outfits in a larger form means I no longer have to flip through the album inlay to look at them. The other poster I've ordered is
High Kings C/C (Cinderella Complex) which I'm just waiting to recieve from
Ohta, again another poster where the costumes are great look at and I love the whole colour scheme of this poster, the gold background with the red and black outfits just looks amazing, fingers crossed the poster will turn up before I go away at the end of the week.

I really want a poster but I want the original Japanese version and not the overseas version but the problem is I don't hang up my posters. The last poster I hung up was a Mitchelle Kwan poster which was like the third grade. My minimoni poster and Bon Kyux2 BOMB posters are still like brand new.

Comment by paul.thomas on Monday, 14th July 2008 07:03Strawberrie, yeah normally I would have gone for a Japanese version but I've left it so long that to order that I haven't been able to find one, which was a bit of a pain, but when I saw this version I just had to have it, I love the outfits worn in this so much.
Saria, the "STOP! Illegal Copy!" that appears on the bottom of the poster is a message from RIAJ (Recording Industry of Japan) I was a little curious about that when I ordered it as none of my previous posters have this on the bottom, but it turns out that all the latest H!P posters have this on the bottom, and I'm guessing it's trying to stop illegal copying of the music. I'm curious as to why it's suddenly started appearing on the posters, I'm not to sure if it's a necessary or if it's optional, if it's optional and UFA are still deciding to put it on their posters I'm guessing piracy must be a big issue for H!P, which is a real shame. It's also a shame as it kind of distracts from the poster itself, although interestingly it's good to see that they are trying to merge it into the design of the posters, C/C (Cinderella Complex) and Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance posters each have different coloured versions of the message but the colours really tie into the posters well.
Comment by momo on Monday, 14th July 2008 14:45I think it's about time the message is getting out to stop pirating H!P music. Pirating H!P music hurts, there is no benefit to illegal copying of their music or any other artists music. This is a message to would-be pirates everywhere to please support H!P and buy their music, don't be stupid and be a pirate, just buy their music and show support.
Comment by nono-chan on Monday, 14th July 2008 17:46i understand the stop the piracy stuff, but what about the people who can't buy H!P stuff? me for example, i have nothing and i mean NOTHING H!P. heck the closest thing i have to an H!P iem was finding a pic of buono in a kera mag. that i lucky found in a nottingham comicbook shop. next to that, i just have scans, vids and ome songs that i downloaded of sites. i'm not saying that downloading ilegaly is good, but for people like me it's 20 trillion times harder to come across songs without finding that we have to buy them. my mom won't even buy me an H!P cd let alone a song for a buck online, so what can people like me do? i hope idon't come across as a bad person for typing this. and the poster is uber cute! X3 i love haow all the girls look in this too.
Comment by paul.thomas on Tuesday, 15th July 2008 11:54nono-chan, I don't think you come across a bad person for typing that at all, I think you're in a very common situation, no one can doubt that how much of a fan you are to H!P just look at the picture you drew and your dub-group, you're showing support for H!P in ways I could never do...lol, well I could but it would so very bad ;p
Have a look at the more recent post (link below) and I'm sure you'll see people responding with the same sort of feelings as you.

Comment by nono-chan on Wednesday, 16th July 2008 01:52Yay! ^^ i'm glad i didn't come as a bad person lol. if i had the money,(like a bagilion dollars)i'd buy H!P stuff. sining and drawing is pretty much the only (free) way i can support. even when i'm in school, i have a pic of koha and tsuji in the pic slots and when ever i get upset at someone i say,"do you wan koharu kusumi and tsuji nozomi to beat you up?" XD i've even got one of my closest friends to get some momusu songs on her ipod. it's gone so far that my own japanese teacher is shocked that i know alot about the current members and singles that i send e-mails to her all the time. i even suported playing mini moni kareoke on her old kareoke machine(the erika one i think that's what you call it) i'm glad that alot of people feel the same way i do.^^ and YAY! i can't wait to see your high king poster X3
