Gachinko de Ikou! Full PV

I've seen the covers floating around for this release for some time now and because of these covers, specifically the one where they're dressed in suits and with playing cards, I've been so looking forward to seeing this PV, I enjoy a sense of humour and fun in a PV and to me these suits (and the humongous cards) show that this is going to be packed full with both.
Buono!'s I think are quite unique within H!P at the moment, other groups share the qualities I'm going to mention but I feel that with Buono! they really have the edge over the other units; everything about their releases has a fresh and clean look and feel (does that make sense?!), the songs are always catchym, the PVs always being visually impressive they manage to combine a sense of fun, humour, cuteness and even a little bit of sexiness (lol, who ever made the recent couple of PVs seem to have a love for Momo's legs...and who can blame them!). And this release doesn't disappoint, everything is of the usual great Buono! standard.

When I originally listened to the song yesterday afternoon I wasn't too sure about it, it wasn't that I didn't like it just that it wasn't as instantly catchy as their other singles, but with a couple of listens I'm now thinking it might be their best single release to date, as ever it's a rock-ie/pop-ie affair which has an amazing and unique sound.

One thing that I can never decide on when it comes to Buono! is which PV I like the most as every PV released is just a great watch each with some really funny sections, normally involving Momo. Not including this release I would say that the PV for their last single, Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!, comes in top, with the video for this release in particular it's more than just the hilarious antics going on within the PV, it's the eye opener I needed to see how great Airi is, much like how the first singles turned me into a massive Momo fan I can see much the same happening with Airi especially when taking into consideration this PV. It's really interesting how both Momo and Airi stand out to me in this PV whilst Miyabi just fades into the background, within Buono! Miyabi is very much the straight man whilst Momo and Airi are the ones getting the laughs and I think this is what really appeals to me about them.
If I take into consideration this PV as well the choice as to which is better becomes quite tough as there are a lot of elements within this that I love. First off the outfits, opening with the suits I just thought "YEAH!!" the girls look amazing in them, especially Airi who with her hair up just looks the business, with Momo it's the combination of her haircut and facial expressions that really do it and Miyabi looking great in her hat. Then the costumes within the dance sections are the standard Buono! affair, long socks and short skirts/shorts which automatically gets the thumb up from me, again it's Airi that grabs my attention in these sections, she looks great and again her hair is just amazing.
Then splitting the PV into three sections you have the game sections, dance sections and then the instrument sections. The game sections have to be my favourite bits by far, there's so much humour and fun packed into them. There's the obvious Momo hilarities, but it's all in her look; the way she smiles, the way she opens her eyes, it's hard to explain but once you've watched the PV you'll know exactly what I mean. There's a great bit with Momo and a mosquito, which is the section I mentioned earlier about the fascination with her legs, it lands, it bites and she scratches in time to the guitar in the background, classic!! Then there's Airi serious nature when playing the games and the way she acts in these again rasies a smile, especially when the camera pans round and we can see she's been at the grape juice!! And then there's Miyabi, lol, this is what I mean...all I can remember her doing in these sections is just looking pretty, not necessarily a bad thing lol.
The dance sections are pretty much that, we get to see the girls looking good and doing some great dancing. But it does get a bit more interesting in the bits with the instruments and this section could quite possibly push into being my favourite Buono! PV, unlike Honto no Jibun where we saw the musicians in the background or Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! where we saw the girls pretending to play the instruments we have a merge of them both! We have a bunch of girls playing the keyboard, drums and guitar and we have Miyabi, Momo and Airi dancing around and occasionally pretending to play the instruments. With the style of music that Buono! release it's great to see that we're given a little bit more than just the girls, if you know what I mean.

Choosing which version to get of the single is an easy choice for me that requires no thinking or debate what so ever, the Limtied Release with the suits and the cards, it just looks so funny.

I love Buono! My favorite H!P currently by far. Airi's rules at the end are the best.
1. you have to "love" food.
2. you have to say"Buono!" while eating.
3. you have to create a "folder of food" on your phone.
lol, they're the best.

Buono! is my favourite H!P, and actually one of the few I kept when I decided to move on from j-pop :/

Before this unit I hardly knew Momo and hardly noticed her at all since I'm no fan of H!P Kids. I kknew both Airi and Miyabi as they were in Aa! with my favourite Reina :) Before I even started to listen to Buono! I had decided that Airi was my favourite, but Momo covered that spot pretty fast xD

Buono is my fav group, love everything about them,
their PV's keep getting better and better and the girls become even more cute and beautiful :)

i too wasn't sure at first about the new song, but i loved the PV & the outfits :), but after listening to it a few more times i really like the song :)

i love all the girls and momo has really nice legs =D

I never really used to like airi...its not like i hate her or something...is just..uah..i don't know...

miya looks really pretty with her hair like that...

btw..i loooove airis outfit...and momos skirt and miyas hat...

the PV is just pure win!


i am slightly falling for airi...but no one is going to beat Maa-chan...=)

hpobsession, them rules are brilliant and instantly made me think of Kat...lol and after seeing her comment (mrs hello blog) looks like she agrees, it's really the last rule that got me as she has folder of photos of dinners she's eaten.

Elin-chan, before Buono! I really wasn't into either Momo or Airi that much, but now I love them both and can't get enough of them.

Paul S, the PVs for their releases are always impressive and they do just keep getting better and better, it's something that I hope that they keep doing and am confident that will, the combination of personalities within the unit really lend to making funny and entertaining PVs.

Kat, yep that's pretty much what I thought when I read them, which was I told you to check them out, lol. Now I see why you've been taking photos of your meals ;p

Minala, lol I know what you mean about Airi I was much the same, oddly I've started to become a big fan of Airi within Buono! but it hasn't really affected her positioning outside of that. I really love her look within Buono! it really does suit her so much. Her hair always look great and she's just really suited to short short and knee high socks ;p

I've also started wondering about the games sections a little more, where are they meant to be playing them? Lol, by the colour of the suits I got the impression that they were in some kind of strange gambling hideout in the middle of the jungle, which would explain that mosquito on Momo's leg...lol, I'm probably way off.

i LOVE this PV! X3 i perfer airi in Buono,since it's not just an airi-fest(like in c-ute. even in edo she got 2 lines.... >_> they were almost even! XD)her otfit was adorable! X3 momo was awesome as always! i wait for her to wear shorts!(that better be in the next PV!)miyabi was just kinda there,but i love her outfit. herglasses are cuutttteee! plus paul i think you see that buono's uniqune because the song's not written by big boss producer man tsunku.(did i type his name right??) i love that atleast one group has a rock feel too it.(i'd love to see a live rock band buono concert one day! mabe when they have enough singles...)

What a stunning single. And Miyabi's hair is ... red? The big thing with Buono! is the power voices that all three singers have. It's a muscular sound, tyhe kind that peels paint off walls, and the brash arrangements are excellent.

@Paul T.: By the way, I've ordered both versions of the latest C-ute single and will report back with anyh reaction, which I can guarantee will be good. As`for Buono!'s outfits, that appears to be the trend in all the H!P groups now -- outlandish, contemporary and daring.

@Nono-chan: I was just thinking the same thing: Buono! is positioned to carry an entire concert and they would be better than fabulous. Even more interesting is to duplicate what C-ute did last fall and have Buono! on the ticket as well. Mayhbe even Berryz can invite Suzuki iver for a Buono! insert into a Berryz fest. Mix and match I always say!

I love this song. Buono Rox!!!!! I love eveyone of their songs but my favorite would have to be Minna Daisuki. Seeing as Minna Daisuki doen't have a PV, this one and the PV for Renai Rider are my favorite PV's. Momo is so adorable. I hope they don't randomly disband like some of the other H!P groups.

Really says something that Miyabi is the 'unremarkable' one. Though Momo and Airi have gained more than a couple of preference points with me, Miya's got nothing to worry about, she's too cool for school.

nono-chan, Buono's rock type feel is a real unique part about them, there's not really any other unit within H!P at the moment that has their kind of sound, I was and still am hoping that perhaps Yossie could start up a solo career with a similar but more mature rock type sound, I think her image would really suit something like that. The idea of a Buono! concert is one that I really like and it would be great to have a live band on stage as well as I imagine it would really add to the excitement, lol we can see how much fun it is watching them harass the people playing the instruments.

Rad, can you belive that I hadn't noticed Miyabi's hair until you mentioned it, lol I guess my attention was really focused on Momo and Airi! C-ute's latest single is still probably my most listened/watched song at the moment, Ithey've been numerous days this week where I've spent the entire train journey into work with either of the song or the video just playing on repeat, such an awesome release. Can't wait to hear your viewes on it.

SozoSama, I think the only worry with Buono! much like Koahchan's solo career is with the Anime ending, which as I'm not really following I dont' really know when that will happen, but if Koha is anything to go by there's alot left in them yet....Which reminds what's happened to Athena & Robikerottsu?

jyoru, when I think back to when Buono! first started the only thing that I was really looking forward to about the unit was Miyabi and it's interesting to see now how that has just been turned on it's head, from their first release Momo and Airi have been growing on me sooo much.

Paul, i believe the colour of the shirts/tie under their suits represents the character in Shugo! Chara that they voice act for.

I love this song. Best song from Buono! Not as catchy, I admit, but I think its the best regardless. :D

Do they do voice acting for the characters as well, I didn't know that...shows how much attention I've been giving the Anime, lol.

I hadn't realised that Robby & Kerobby had been canceled, again shows how much attention I pay to the Anime...that's a real shame as I was really enjoying this unit especially Gaki and Nakki, oh well...
