Saki Nakajima 2008 Scarf

I've genuinely spent most of this evening with my Nakki scarf wrapped around me trying to figure why the hell it's so cold, I only realised about an hour ago that the heating was off since this morning...that would explain it!
So it would seem that Ohta had a little trouble getting the scarfs due to a daily with the H!P shop not sending them out. This has unfortunately meant that the scarf has turned up a little later than expected missing out on that snowy freezing cold week awhile back, but luckily the weather hasn't changed that drastically the snow has been replaced with rain and although it's not as cold it's certainly still scarf wearing weather.


This is my 3rd H!P scarf in as many years (V-u-den Single and Alo-Hello DVD, Why Do These Things Always Happen To Me?) and as ever I'm extremely impressed with it. The scarfs are all made from the same material (fleece I think, I'm useless with materials) but they differ in the colour and obviously the stitching of the autograph and the design around it. This years it's dark blue in colour and the stitching is a criss cross design, colour wise I think this has to be my favourite out of all three the dark blue looks really nice, I still think the first scarf I purchased has the best design on it though, although that doesn't mean I'm complaining about this one it's still great!

The scarf for me is something that I enjoy picking as I always try to pick the member within H!P that has really stood out to me the most. The first year was Sayumi's a long standing favourite member within Morning Musume, then last year was the obvoius choice of Koha. This year, I decided to look outside of Morning Musume, for me last year was about really getting into the other two Wonderful Hearts units Berryz Koubou and C-ute and although both unit has impressed me the past year C-ute is the unit that has really stood out to me the most. So looking within C-ute the choice was then whose would I get? Out of all of the units, I find it hardest to say who within C-ute I like the most it's such a strong unit with a totally amazing line up of personality and voices. In the end I opted for the Nakki scarf, having got an Erika Valentines set (Sweet Valentine and Hello Pro Award Photo Sets) at the start of last year it's only fair that I get the Nakki scarf, plus ever since seeing the Forever Love PV I've been even more amazed with her.

lol not much is said other than that when she's mentioned huh? ^^
Fleece is correct by the by. alothugh it's really nice quality fleece. it's all fluffy looking. ^^

Maybe i should get one this year................. Sayuuuuu

I loved this years scarf designs, it's just a shame i've been through some pretty harsh money trouble lately so I couldn't get the Mittsi one i wanted ><. Ah well, always next year :D

Love that Nakki one though ^^

I got my Kumai-chan scarf on Monday, it was a great package to come home from school too :)
I can't wait to get the photos, though seeing your NakaSaki scarf made me wish I could have afforded that one too, she's my favourite C-ute member, though I suppose there's always next year! That said, I want JunJun's aswell, it's a hard life choosing XD

After looking at the neat goods you've gotten I want some of my own ^_^ I think I might order a scarf from Ohta (though they don't have any in stock I want). Oh man I can't believe I'm getting back into H!P again.

James, I'm always glad to hear people discovering through my site as that's always been my aim, so tough finding H!P merchandise and the like lol mainly because there's so much of it!

Hexi, lol you know more than most about how I get whenever Nakki's brought up in conversation, lol. It's like a brain freeze and only one word is in there "Nakki....". It's really nice material it's so comfy to wear, it kept me warm the other night so well that I had to loosen it because I was getting too hot...can you believe that with the weather we've had over the past few days.

bulmaman, moeny problems are always a pain and it really doesnt help with the current exchange rate, when I checked this morning it was 119 yen to the pound! That's so unbelievably bad, I'm really hoping it doesn't drop lower, it's almost 100 yen to the pound, that's just stupid!

Gina, always good returning home to see a package waiting for you! Mm can't wait to see the photos, really curious to see what they're like. The whole thing about them being not included with the scarf is still really odd though, I wonder what the thinking behind it was?
It's always hard choosing with H!P merchandise, it's just a shame we can't afford to buy all of them lol!

Janelle, good luck with finding a scarf that you're after, I'm guessing they may be a little hard to find now perhaps Yahoo!Auctions have some that you'll want? Good to hear you're getting back into H!P, how some you went away?

Well my Takahashi one came yesterday. it's a nice shade of dark blue. Can't wait for the pics to come.
