Buono! ~Hybrid Punch~ Tour Merchandise

Saturday, 7th March 2009 22:47

Well it looks like Ohta is back to sending those notification emails out! The latest email lets us know that he has Buono! merchandise in for their first tour, ~Hybrid Punch~, up on his eBay Store.
As with everything Buono! related the quality looks to be amazing, I just don't think you can fault anything associated with this group. For some reason I've never posted about the Buono! singles and albums I've purchased, but the thing that has always stood out to me when comparing against other H!P releases is the quality of the inlay, the paper (card?) is much thicker and shinier generally, it's a strange thing to be impressed about but to me it adds that little bit of extra value and quality to the release.

The shirts, which are always my favourite part of all of the tour merchandise, look to be of an amazing quality. Unlike the majority of tour shirts where the print comes in one colour, these come in two!! The design of the print is really cool and suits the whole 'cartoon' theme of the merchandise (well at least the couple of scans I've seen of the Visual Book), looking similar to one of those "BOOM" symbols that flash up when people get punched in the old skool Batman series. And as ever the accompanying photos of the Buono! girls can't be faulted, I find that as amazing as they look within their respective units nothing can come close to how they look within Buono!
There's also the usual DVD Magazines, Visual Books and Towels. But for me I'm going to have to pass on them, as amazing as they look (and the Visual Book really does look amazing) I think I'll just be sticking with the Buono! shirt...well it would be rude not to right? I've still got to grab a ticket for their appearance in Sweden (fingers crossed they're not sold out) but I'd just feel wrong turning up not wearing a Buono! shirt. I may also see if Ohta is able to get some of the photos not currently up on his store, looking through the tour merchandise page on the H!P site (http://www.helloproject.com/museum/tour/09_buonohybrid/index.html) there's a set with the girls in the outfits on the back cover of the inlay of their recent album, pink and black suits them so well!

Dude, you're killing me here. I'm really trying to not spend money and you keep showing me all this awsome stuff. Granted the comic theme would go over well at Emerald city comicon, and Sakura-con. And I was plannng on getting pictures eventually.

I really want the Buono shirt but I'm going to pass on it because it's just so expensive and I have an eye on forthcoming Morning Musume merchandise. I want to buy another shirt soon but I can't afford to buy too many. There'll be MM stuff coming soon so I'm waiting. It's a dangerous game though as I only buy shirts I'd actually wear and that Buono one I really like. A lot of the shirts I don't like so much. Maybe it's because I go for plain colours a lot. My favourite shirt so far is Konno's 21st birthday shirt and that was plain black on the front except for the Gatas Brilihantes logo. The back was a number and her name across the top football shirt style. This Buono shirt is a similar simple but eye-catching style. I'll probably regret passing on it.

As for pictures I love the clothes from the front of their latest album. I want pics of Momo in a British flag dress.

I'd love a Buono! tshirt for the expo but I'm going to just make my own instead XD I have a pretty good idea of how it'll turn out, it'll be pretty... interesting to say the least lol.

I'm making my own Buono tee too! Me and roommate got a silkscreen kit - we're going to try to start a little bizness.

@Sassy:
"Business" [*is a grammar freak*]
make sure you don't breach copyright laws if you're gonna be doing H!P members. the japanese are super strict about that stuff. ><
one reason i haven't sold my own creations (plus they're no where near good enough to sell. still need a good few years in silkscreening and heat transfer printing to get good enough. apparently 2 wasn't enough. *shrug*) but yeah.
careful about copyright. ><

^ I'm guessing it'll be alright since I'm not printing anything on mine, just planning on writing Buono! all over it in fabric paint and writing the girls names on the back XD

You won't be able to get one now unless they're on Yahoo Auctions, the concert was months ago now.
