Merry Christmas
Sunday, 24th December 2006 13:05
Just a quick post to wish everyone a
Happy Christmas, I don't know what everyone else has got planned but I hope you all have a good time, I'm off down to the pub in a few hours then spending the next couple of days sobering up, us English and our binge drinking.
This post wouldn't have a Christmas feel if I didn't include some
Shige/Koha-Pinku, so I've added
Wa ~Merry Pin X Mas to the music player....Merry Pinku Christmas!!

I've also been searching through my old computer and I've uploaded a couple of Christmas clips that I found, I'm not entirely sure what years they are from, but im going to make an educated guess. One features 4th gen members, so it must be Christmas 2000 whilst the other features 6th gen members, so I'm going to say it's Christmas 2003. Out of all the songs in both of these clips, my favourite is
Santa Claus is Coming to Town with Sayumi, Eri and Reina.

Comment by paul.thomas on Monday, 25th December 2006 22:15WOW, thanks, thats a great link!!!
I'll be adding all of them to my screensaver and making some more title banners for the site as soon as I get a chance. Hope you had a great Christmas!!
I've also updated the site slightly...links should now link properly without having to copy and paste them, plus I've added a 'Recent Comment Preview' on the main page...I'm not to sure if I should keep it or if I like it, would appreciate any comments on it. Thanks

So be sure to check them out, also do you know how I could get hold of the W (double you) albums? .... *wink wink*
Comment by LJC on Thursday, 28th December 2006 17:49I like the new banners, I hope you make one of Ogawa Makoto in her cow fleece :)
Comment by paul.thomas on Thursday, 28th December 2006 19:36I added 16 new banners and I'll create some more tonight and over the weekend...theres a scary amount of them at the moment...118 different ones.
At the moment I already have 1 Makoto in a cow fleece
http://www.helloblog.co.uk?image=12 that should force the home page to show it (well at least until you go somewhere else) but I'm planning a couple of from that series of shots as they're so cool!!
As for the Double U albums I've had a hunt around the net a little last night but couldn't find a download for them...have you checked out CDJapan or HMV? I think you should be able to get both of them shipped to you for about £30, they're definetly worth the money...always best to support H!P.
Let me know if you still have no luck, I'll see what I can do.
Comment by LJC on Thursday, 28th December 2006 19:45Those makoto cow pictures are very cute indeed, Ive been hunting for the double U albums for a few months now without avail... so maybe I should stump up some cash and support H!P.
Comment by paul.thomas on Thursday, 28th December 2006 23:19The PB they come from is great book, it was the 3rd PB I ever bought...will have to pull it out a bit later and have a flick through, there are some really good pictures in it.
If you're looking to buy from Japan, today is a good day to do it, just checked the exchange rate and it's 233 yen to the pound, so it should work out even cheaper!!...Right I'm off to buy some DVD and PB's.
Comment by LJC on Friday, 29th December 2006 07:07I only got into H!P stuff this year and Im slowly becoming a hardcore fan, Ive got 2 photobooks so far, one is of the lovely Kago ai and another is from the making of the mini moni movie (which is brilliant).
Although I was a little concerened at the time due to my age (24) ... I thought it was kinda odd.
But regardless Im no longer concerned, and I like to bask in H!P goodness whenever possible.
Comment by paul.thomas on Sunday, 31st December 2006 01:58I was 25 when I first started getting into H!P and my first album was Mini Moni's 2nd album, my first DVD purchase was Mini Moni the Movie (you're right, it is excellent).
One thing I'm always confused with is when people worry about age and liking H!P, personally I love the music and I don't see where age comes in, although slightly understandable with the Mini Moni music as it is aimed at a slightly younger audience, but they have done some absolute classic songs and I think their quirkiness adds to the appeal.
Did you manage to get the two W albums?
Comment by LJC on Sunday, 31st December 2006 08:11No luck as of yet although I remain optimistic on the issue, I find myself torn between who I like more.. Mini moni or morning musume...
Have you seen ' The Brementown Musicians' ?
Ive just downloaded it and I think its brilliant, it shows they all have good acting skills and are hilarious/cute at the same time.
Highly recomended.
Comment by paul.thomas on Sunday, 31st December 2006 15:43Well if you're thinking of buying it HMV have them both in stock
http://www.hmv.co.jp/search/artist/000000000238779/
I've seen 'The Brementown Musicians' but it was quite a while ago, i'll have to give it another watch, it was very good, I especially loved the song at the end 'Lucky Cha, Cha, Cha', one of the only Mini Moni PV's I don't own.
You can't really fault Mini Moni, everything they did was great always funny and cute, I bought a DVD when I was in Japan last, I forget the title but it was basically a quiz series with Mini Moni playing word games whilst dressed as monks (i think) it's hilarious.
