Love&Peace=Paradise Full PV

Friday, 6th November 2009 02:18

Sitting in work the other day I saw this pop up on :::Dohhh Up!::: with my boss being in I wasn't able to just load it up and have a listen. Turning on mute shrinking the window to make it not look so obvious I was watching Hello! Project rather than working hard I clicked play and off I went, only to look at it moan to myself how crappy :::Dohhh Up::: was for uploading such a poor quality verison of the video and closed the window down. Haha, how much of an idiot do I feel now having watched the whole thing!

So, lot's of pixelated clouds are the order of the day for this PV and althogh it's strange thing to really like, especially considering my inital complaint about it, I love the look. Perhaps it's the 80s kid in me coming out with my love of old Atari games, or maybe the whole Japanese love of pixelation has grown on me (ummm....lol) but either way it makes for a really interesting looking PV, with the darker pink really showing off the almost white pink of the outfits worn by Mano and her backing dancers. Impressively it seems that with each PV release Manoeri just gets cuter and cuter as does her PVs, fingers crossed this will be kept up as I'm really beginning to enjoy her PVs, generally more than the actual songs. I say generally because I really do love this song, it's not that I like don't her others, if I'm in the right mood all I want to listen to is Mano singles, it's just I have to be in that mood and I'm hoping that single releases just don't her justice. By this I don't mean that her album tracks will be better, but with all the songs on one CD it means they can be played through altogehter (OK, so I could group all her current singles into a playlist, but I'm lazy) and I get the feeling that when I can do this, I'm going to turn into a huge Manoeri fan, HUGE!!
This is the first song since ManoPiano that I've listened to through the first time and just loved it instantly, it's cute...and no where near as (and I hate saying this) boring (can I say that I mean that in the nicest possible sense? lol) as some of her other releases.

I'm currently rewatching the PV and there's something that I can't belive I was going to miss out, ear muffs! Mano needs to wear ear muffs 100% of the time, I don't think anyone has ever looked so great in them before, ever. And the best thing, looking through the CD covers there's an ear muff version! If I can get the cash together I know which version I'll be buying!
Oh, and one more thing I almost forgot the whole stnading in a line jumping parts of the PV, how great are they!? If you don't know, let me tell you, *puts on a Tony the Tiger voice* "They're GRRREAT!"
All in all a very impressive release, something that'll certainly get me excitied about the Decemeber 16th and the release of her album!

I was surprise that I actually enjoy the song. I always kind of found Mano's voice to be flat so it was really hard me to enjoy anything she releases. I love the PV and the song so I hope it does well but my little issue is the shoes S/milage wears....totally doesn't go with their outfit....at least give them white ones.

The song is not entirely my taste. But I love how very Japanese Idol-y this is:)
We haven't seen this since the hey day of Matsuura Aya! :)
MORE!!!!
Also: the piano playing! haaaa^_^

I don't really like this song but I just can't get over how cute she looks in this PV with that adorable white dress!

Mano is god. I love every release and this song is no different. I totally agree with you on every point. This PV is insanely cute. I have become a huge Mano fan especially after the release of her first major single Otome no Inori. I love her songs, and I never thought one of her songs was boring.

It really saddens me to see people not like her voice or find her songs "boring". She is something different. Sadly a lot of H!P only like a few different types of music (then again thats how most people are). Her music is certainly in a different style. This song is is certainly more H!P like. But her voice overall is not exactly H!P material.

I truly believe she can sing better than 95% of the other girls in H!P. Her voice has also been improving. Her music is amazing. The piano aspect is something that really makes her music special. The instrumentals of her releases are just as strong without the vocals. Instrumentally her music is just as good if not better than the current H!P releases (even though she still is not as good as Momusu :(, but who is lol. Answer. No one.).

I really look forward to her new album coming out next month. I think it will be the best album from H!P this year.

Matt_D, so I know all about your Reina love, where does Mano come after her? Is she your 2nd fave H!P member? I don't think I know who you like after Reina.

Strawberrie, Mano's voice has certainly been interesting in some of her releases, but I think with each release she gets better and better vocally, so I'm eagerly awaiting her album as I imagine she's going to sound great on it. I was going to mention their shoes in my post, but for the completely opposide reason lol, I thought they went really well, made them stand out a bit.

cororo, mmmm Ayaya, I need more Ayaya! Hope she gets a single release soon! It is very idol'y PV and it's so cute. Mano's PVs as they are really perfect for her image, I'm really glad that a lot of effort has been put into her releases, although I'm still not understanding why she gets so many CD releases with each release as opposed to everyone else, 5 in one release including the Single V, still not entierly sure why Morning Musume aren't getting as many versions :S

Sozomusume, Mano pulls some really cute faces in the close ups. I went off Mano's look for a little while, but certainly with the last issue of UTB I have and this PV my interest is getting picked back up again.

Hinatanko, in my experience through the H!P fans that I've spoken to there does seem to be quite a few whose musical tastes vary greatly to what they listen to outside of H!P. But I have to admit there does seem to be a general sort of grouping in H!P musical views at times, but that's just natural I think. When I origianlly heard that she'd be playing the piano on her releases I was so excitied, I still am, as it's such a different angle for H!P to take compared to all their other units, and it's not second to the singing which I love as well. You can take away the vocals and just listen to the instrumentals and still have such a great song becuase of the piano playing.
Her album is going to be one of the most interesting albums from H!P this year, can't wait to have a listen!
