Berryz Koubou and C-ute Visual Screens

Ohta's eBay store is looking a little sparce at the moment, well that is if you not a fan of
S/mileage becuase if you are you can grab yourself copies of their CD Singles and Single V's for their past three indie releases.
It's probably fair to say that since
HelloStoreUSA has taken most of the regular buyers through him away, but it's good to see that Ohta is still there providing a service for those hard to get items that aren't available through HelloStore, although not up on his eBay Store he's currently taking orders for the
Berryz Koubou and C-ute visual screens through his
Hello! Project Goods Shop. At some point I need to order some visual screens as I've never actually got around to it before and from the photos I've seen of them from people who've bought them they look pretty damn good.
These feature the outfits from next years calendar covers, the Berryz ones aren't the most attractive outfits, a little bit too plain and boring for my tastes, but the C-ute ones! They're AWESOME! And to make a change (well certainly within C-ute at least) if i was to buy one, it would be
Airi's her pose is just great! Meh, how I wish I had a bit more cash to waste.

A lot of people complain on Hello-online about his prices being unresonable so everyone is using different sources now. Including me.
Comment by momo on Thursday, 26th November 2009 18:23I used Ohta to place an order before Hellostore opened since it was weeks later that the Nine Smile items arrived at H!S. But the good thing is that Hellostore's prices are fair compared to ohta, but I do notice that if you buy items off of him directly rather than through ebay, it can be cheaper because the price you see on ebay adds ebay fees along with commission. Thats what I noticed when I looked at the price of the Nine Smile shirt from ebay and through him directly

Comment by paul.thomas on Friday, 27th November 2009 01:03Strawberrie, yea it seems quite a few people are using other people, which I kind of understand with the price differences, especially with the likes of HelloStoreUSA. A lot of people have mentioned to me about his prices, but for me I'm more than willing to pay that bit extra to Ohta when I need to, although at the moment I haven't had the cash to indulge to much in H!P goodness. For me the thing Ohta is I've known him and spoken to him for years and he has my complete and utter trust and I like to think that he also trusts me with no worries, there's been purchases where I've not sent him the money in ages but he knows at no point am I going to do it over if he asks saying he needs it, it'll be there and vice versa if he needs cash up front I've got no worries of sending it all over and letting him do his thing knowing that my money is safe. I've had a couple of problems with other sellers on eBay that sell H!P merchandise with things not turning up people not replying to emails, luckily it's never been a lot of money, just a photobook and some photos. For me that's the key with Ohta I know he's a bit more expensive, but I know how reliable he is.
Momo, yea buying straight through him rather than through eBay means that the charges will be slightly lower. And I think that may be one advantage that he has over HelloStoreUSA in that he gets the newer releases quicker (although don't quote me on that lol, by the time it takes to order it receive them and send them out they may very well have been up on the HelloStore) there's also the advantage of some of the things that H!S USA doesn't sell, I think each have their audiences. For example if I was to buy tickets for a concert in Japan I'd go through straight through Ohta, he made it so easy, lol plus if I hadn't of had that ticket on me I'd of probably been stuck in the airport even longer answering stupid questions XD
Meyouu, their 3rd indie is Suki Chan, I've yet to heat it so no idea what it's like...although to be fair I have only listened to their first single.
Comment by zush on Saturday, 28th November 2009 08:18I think most items I've got with the help of Shigehiro are from Yahoo Japan Auction. The old stuff that has been out of stock/print for ages, the rare fan club stuff you can't get anywhere else and also new FC SP items etc. So that's why I'm still also his customer. "Rareness" that's the tag in this case.
Comment by paul.thomas on Sunday, 29th November 2009 02:17Mmm, he's got a quite a few things for me from Yahoo! Auctions as well, there's a number of items (my signed Koha poster is a good example) that I bought from there and wouldn't have been able to do so without him...well I would but I doubt it would have been as straight forward and easy.
Comment by Meyouu on Wednesday, 2nd December 2009 07:39OIC, I sort of came across it just now (or yesterday).
Also, their second single is marginally more, uh "pretty" than the first, might be worth your listen ^_^.
