Hello!Project 2010 Poll

It may be a little late, but I've finally managed to get this years poll up... only a couple months after I had originally planned it XD This years poll is split into two sections, the overall ranking of all current members of Hello! Project and a ranking of the current units and soloists (well.. soloist).

JapanFiles and HelloStoreUSA are offering a number of prizes for people participating in the poll, a full list of these can be seen below. Because these are being offered as prizes there will be no limitation to countries and everyone who votes will be entitled to be part of the draw. Simply tick the box on the submission screen to take part, as always information entered here will only be used for statistics and only the winners of the draw will be contacted via email for their details to send out the relevant prizes.

The poll will run for two weeks, closing at midnight on the 12th of Aprli 2010. After this date I'll attempt to get the results up as soon as I can.

Great job as always Paul. I've agonised as usual as to who'll take the minor places.

I have a suggestion though, if there are two votes from the same e-mail address, choose the later vote. since there are someone who doesn't get the poll with just one go (a friend of mine didn't read the instruction properly XD ).
but, maybe you already come up with this idea, since this is not the first time :-P

This is actually my first time voting on a poll and I thought it was really fun! I liked ranking them but it was really hard for me! There were a lot of people that I wanted to put on the top but I couldn't put EVERYBODY~ the group one was pretty easy for me though

Wow, thanks to everone taken part so far, it's really been an amazing response and thanks for all the kind words about the poll :)

Xacur, I'm going to do another image this afternoon that'll be more forum friendly, if you've got the old links all you should need to do is to replace the 'm'/'u' with an f, but I'll repost again when I get it up. If it's useful I can send an email out to everyone who's voted so far with the new image link.

Afa, yea thats what I normally do, but I can always remove any votes that are wrong manually and you'll be able to reenter them again, if you need you can just send me an email.

Tsuni, exactly what I said to Afa, just send me a mail with your details and I'll cancel the vote.

Rebecca, I was debating which units to put in and I just thought that as much as I'd like to include the Icecream Musume girls they haven't really been active enough (although in my vote they would have come way before s/mileage and manoeri). In the end I just went with the active Japanese units and members.

paul.thomas: I'm very late on this, but I suppose I can understand that reasoning. There was Da Xiao Jie as well, but they probably wouldn't have had much of a chance for anything anyway.

Ptom, I appreciate the effort, and I cracked last year and did the poll, but I won't be participating this year. I'm sure you're deeply depressed about that, lol.

Anyway, it won't allow me to put them in the correct order as I see it: 1.) Momoko. 2.) Momoko. 3.) Momoko. 4.) & 5.) (tie) Momoko... etc.

I'm not saying it's the correct answer, but it's an answer, regardless. I don't want to spend more than two minutes of my life thinking, "well, she *was* number three last year, but after that latest single, i'm really starting to like Captain a bit more..."

And dammit, a poll where I can't vote for Koha is a poll I can't vote in... (sobs uncontrollably). It's not your fault, Ptom.

Anyways, not trying to say you shouldn't vote, people. Voting is important. You *can* make a difference. But I don't rank idols. They're all cute and charming and they work their asses off.

Just to let people know, I've taken down the poll and will start to go through the results shortly, once I've got a local copy of the results I'll reactive the poll so anyone who wants to take it who haven't can, but these votes will not be counted to the final result.

I'll also be contacting the winners of the prizes shortly as well, so keep an eye on your emails :D

^ The poll only covered those who are currently in Hello! Project. The Elder Club graduated from Hello! Project at the beginning of last year, so they are no longer considered current members.

omame, i've got the results just need to find the time to write them, annoyingly been so busy with work at the moment I just havent had the time to do it.
I wanted to get it down Sunday but ran out of time, hopefully the next few days I can find a couple of hours to knock it all up.
