So usually when Morning Musume get a new member i'm always a bit wary and it generally takes me a while to accept and get used to them, now I know Kusumi has been a member for a while now, but for some reason i've taken to her quicker than others, she's quite lively and seems cute enough and in the Morning Musume Concert Tour 2005 Natsuaki BariBari Kyoushitsu Koharu Chan Irasshai dvd she introduced everyone in a super cute fashion, it always brings a smile to my face, with Rainbow Pink being one of my favourite songs shes risen a couple of more notches.......and now I see her solo effort Koi Kana, the PV looks GREAT!! she looks GREAT!! it is GREAT!! So great in fact that i've just ordered the limited edition CD single and DVD!
Unexpectadly yesterday morning the post man rang my door bell, I knew it would be either my photobooks or the DVD I ordered, it had to be one of the two....but I wasn't 100% sure, as far as I knew my DVD was still under order and hadn't been shipped and as for the photobooks I knew they had been shipped, but under standard Air Mail not EMS so it shouldn't of taken four days to get here, I was expecting a knock on the door next Saturday at the earliest. But as it turns out it was my books, five of them, I don't know how the guy I buy the from does it but they always arrive soooooo quick, not that i'm complaining, I wish everything I bought turned up this fast.
All of them were in great condition, two of them were still in there original packaging and hadnt been opened, not bad for something thats five years old.....I certainly couldn't of held out that long to open them.....I couldn't hold out for more than five minutes to rip them open and flip through the pages!!
First one open was the Morning Musume Photobook 1999 Big Size (not entirely sure if thats the proper title for it or not) which features Natsumi Abe, Iida Kaori, Yuko Nakazawa, Aya Ishiguro, Kei Yasuda, Mari Yaguchi and Ichii Sayaka, the book also contains a poster of each. Theres some great pictures of Ichii and Kaori in their bikinis, whilst Mari just doesn't quite look right to me......i'm guessing im used to her with blonde(ish) hair, her natural colour just doesn't look quite right, not nearly cute enough.
Next up was Hitomi Yoshizawa's book (2001), I've always been a fan of Hitomi, she has a boyish look but she still looks good and this books proves it! All you need to do is look at that the pictures of her in uniform, dressed in leather and in them cute shorts and visor to see that......i'm not to sure about her new look though, she looking very girly and pretty, but somehow it just doesnt look right.
Next are the three books of the graduated members of Morning Musume, Natsumi Abe (2001), Iida Kaori (2001) and Kei Yasuda (2001), now for some unknown reason i've never really managed to pick up much of an interest in these three girls, I must admit i'm very tempted to pick up some of Natsumi Abe's solo stuff as it's apparently really good, when I do, no doubt i'll be writing about it on here....until then....but with both Lida Kaori and Kei Yasuda my interest has slowly begun to pick up after seeing them on Utaban at the time of the 2001 shuffle units, its a six parter but for some reason I can only find parts 5 and 6 on YouTube, but it's classic and so funny, have a look see if you can find the preceeding parts as they're great and I can't stop laughing at the comments made by and made to both Yasuda and Kaori.
So that's another five photo books to add to my growing collection, soon i'm going to need a new shelf to put them all on.
I've just checked on hmv.co.jp and it would seem my Rainbow 7 2006 Concert DVD is in transit, so fingers crossed i'll be recieving it this week, i'm so looking forward to seeing a live version of Rainbow Pink
